Orange Township Releases Trick or Treat Date

Orange Township Trick or Treat Time Changed

Orange Township Trick or Treat: Thursday October 30, 2014 6 PM until 8 PM

Trick or Treat is a community activity that usually occurs on October 31, and has been the source of discussion in recent years as other activities require families’ time and attention.

The Board of Trustees of Orange Township has determined that following the recommendation of the Mid Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) will allow the residents to have the predictability of a scheduled Trick or Treat evening that will not interfere with other weekend activities in the coming years. If October 31 falls on a weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), Trick or Treat will be held the prior Thursday evening.

If it falls on a week night (Monday through Thursday), then Trick or Treat will be held on the actual date of October 31. The time period for Trick or Treat will be between the hours of 6 PM and 8 PM.

The schedule will be followed Rain or Shine. Families are encouraged to check the weather forecast, and use good judgment to keep the participants safe.
