The Delaware Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a four-vehicle fatal crash that occurred at approximately 11:30 A.M. on August 20, 2014 on US 23 at SR 229 in Delaware County.
Sanjay Dhall, age 51, of Canton, Michigan, was driving a 2007 Kia Rondo southbound on US 23 followed by Curtis Dixon, age 69, of Howell, Michigan, who was driving a 2014 Ford Escape. Both vehicles had stopped at a red light at the intersection with SR 229/Norton Road. Randall G. Both Mr. Dixon’s vehicle and Mr. Dhall’s vehicle were forced to the left and into the median and Mr. Dhall’s vehicle overturned onto its top. Mr. Lee’s vehicle then went through the intersection and struck a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Lewis Fisher, age 55, of Marengo, Ohio, that was eastbound on Norton Road entering the intersection at a green light. Mr. Lee’s vehicle and Mr. Fisher’s vehicle then went off the southwest corner of the intersection and came to rest.
