DELAWARE, Ohio – The Delaware Veterans Parade kick-off meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 15th, at 10:00 am at the Veterans Service Office, located at 91 North Sandusky Street, Delaware. The meeting is open to anyone who would like to attend and help make this year’s Veterans Day parade a success.

Margo Litke, the Director of the Veterans Day Parade, encourages anyone who wants to be a part of the planning to join in and help promote the event. “We would love any and all help to get the word out and to line the streets,” Litke said. “We could use all talents from promotions help working the booth at First Friday and other events, someone to help with publicity, marketing. Any and all talents are welcome.”
The group also plans to meet occasionally and keep everyone updated via email in between for anyone who may not be able to make a meeting.
This year’s parade will have a Vietnam theme, and all groups supporting veterans are welcome to participate. The parade will take place on Sunday, November 5th, at 3 pm.

The Delaware Veterans Parade is an annual event that honors those who have served in the military. The parade is a community-wide event that draws participants and spectators from across the state.
