POWELL, Ohio — The City of Powell has announced the entertainment schedule for the 2023 Powell Festival.
The Powell Festival takes place Friday, June 23 and Saturday, June 24, 2023 in Village Green Park in Powell.
Festival attractions include a kids zone, marketplace, food trucks, vendors, local beer and wine and fireworks. Each night of the festival includes musical acts, with fireworks on Saturday.
Friday, June 23
- The Reaganomics – 5:30 p.m.
- Sister Hazel – 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, June 24
- Trent Harmon – 6 p.m.
- Smash Mouth – 8 p.m.
- Fireworks finale – 10 p.m.

Smash Mouth is known for their songs “Walkin’ on the Sun” (1997), “All Star” (1999), and “Then The Morning Comes” (1999). Their cover of The Monkees’ “I’m a Believer” (2001) was included in the soundtrack for the original Shrek movie.
Sister Hazel is an alternative rock band known for their hit “All For You” (1994)
Trent Harmon is known for winning the 16th season of American Idol.
The Reaganomics are a Columbus-based 80s cover band.
Sol from WNCI will serve as event MC.
