It’s the most wonderful time of the year, but let’s be real – the day after Christmas can be a bit of a letdown. Here are 5 ways to make the most of it and gear up for 2023.

It’s the day after Christmas, and you’re probably feeling a little bit like this:

But never fear! There are still a few things you can do to prepare for the new year and make sure you’re ready to tackle 2023 with a fresh start. Here are five things you can do to get ready:

Take down all the holiday decorations.

Yes, it’s a tedious task, but trust us, you’ll feel a million times better once it’s done. Plus, it’ll give you a chance to find all those stray ornaments and tangled strands of lights that you thought were lost forever.

Create a vision board.

It’s never too early to start planning and setting goals for the new year. Gather up some magazines, scissors, and glue, and start cutting out pictures and words that represent what you want to accomplish in 2023. Don’t forget to include a picture of a beach vacation, because we all need something to look forward to.

Clean out your fridge.

It’s likely that you have a ton of leftover holiday food taking up space in your fridge. Take the time to go through everything and throw out anything that’s past its prime (or at least give it to the dog). You’ll be amazed at how much room you have once you’re done.

Start a new hobby.

The day after Christmas is the perfect time to start something new. Whether it’s knitting, woodworking, or learning a new language, now is the time to try something you’ve always wanted to do. Who knows, you might just discover a new passion.

Take a nap (My Personal Favorite).

You deserve it. You’ve been running around all holiday season, making sure everyone else was taken care of. It’s time to put your feet up and catch some z’s. Trust us, you’ll be glad you did.
