If you missed Delaware’s PREMIER networking event last night….

Premiere photo 2 photo

You missed two and one half hours of local networking, food, fun and idea sharing. 19 people found refuge from the warm July evening to attend last night at Amato’s.

We’d like to give a special mention to Craig who offered us the back room (more on that later) and to Natalie who was our designated server for the evening. They provided some free appetizers that deserve Premier 3 photospecial mention…it was completely unexpected and they were totally good!

The first guest arrived 5 to 10 minutes early…about the same time I got there. People kept arriving until we had the back room filled and had to spill over in to the adjoining hallway.

After networking for 1 hour and 10 minutes we sat down to enjoy some good food. The room was not big enough for all who stayed, so we moved out to the main dining area and occupied 3 big tables.

John Algie, President of the Ohio Machine, generously offered 4 tickets to the last home game on July 27, 2013 at Selby Stadium here in Delaware. There are still great seats and pricing available for the game against the Charlotte Hounds. Click on the link for details. Congratulations to Carla Kapp and Robin Volker whose names were drawn.premiere 1 photo

We again want to thank this month’s event sponsors, Richard Upton of J Gumbo’s and D. J. Young of Firestone, Brehm, Wolf, Whitney & Young (attorney firm).

Sponsorship is already taken for the August meeting. We wish to thank Creative Financial Insurance and Lechner Family Dentistry. Contact me if you want info on future sponsoring opportunities. sevanko@delawareo.com

We meet again on August 21st and September 18 at Amato’s. Make plans to attend!

Last night’s event was fantastic! There was a substantial turnout. I met several wonderful individuals who represent fantastic businesses as well as individuals that genuinely care about the people, businesses and overall presence of Delaware. I am looking forward to the next event on Wednesday, August 21st.

Glad you could make it! Thanks for your energy and support!! This is so exciting to see the group grow, not for the sake of growth, but to connect and build a community in Delaware. That’s what this is all about.
