DELAWARE, Ohio — A Columbus man will spend five years in prison after prosecutors say he was found passed out in a car in the driveway of a Chili’s restaurant with a gun between his legs.
Donald T. Harrison II was arrested in February of 2022 on charges of drug trafficking, drug possession and weapons under disability.

According to court records, he was was passed out in a car that was blocking the driveway of the Chili’s restaurant along Gemini Place, near Polaris. According to court records, he was unresponsive, slumped behind the wheel while the vehicle was in drive. Between his legs was a small black handgun and a scale with white powder on it.
Police entered the vehicle through the open sun roof and secured the handgun. A search of the car revealed drug pipes, a scale, several bags of needles, several bags of suspected methamphetamine, cocaine and powdered fentanyl.
In December, Harrison pleaded guilty to weapons under disability and attempted drug possession. He was sentenced to 60 months in prison.
In Franklin County, Harrison was also recently sentenced to prison on charges of tampering with evidence, drug trafficking, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, attempted possession of drugs, possession of drugs and weapon under disability.
