Delaware County, Ohio – It is going to be HOT in the county this weekend, and it is fast approaching. There are plenty of exciting events happening in Delaware County to keep residents and visitors entertained. Here are some highlights of the upcoming events taking place in no particular order!
- Open Mic Night at Griffeys Book Emporium: On June 23, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Griffeys Book Emporium on 4 Troy Road in Delaware, OH, will host an Open Mic Night. Whether you’re a musician, poet, comedian, or any other type of performer, this event welcomes all forms of creative expression. Sign up for a performance slot either in-store or on their website. - Ostrander Farmers Market: Head over to the Ostrander Farmers Market on June 24, 2023, from 8:30 AM to Noon. The market will feature a variety of homegrown and homemade items. - Powell Festival 2023: Experience the family-friendly Powell Festival in downtown Powell, Ohio, on June 23 and June 24. - Delaware Music Center Rock School: On June 25, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, head over to Henmick Farm & Brewery at 4380 North Old State Road, Delaware, OH, to support the Delaware Music Center Rock School. - Alum Creek Dam Tour: If you’ve ever been curious about what lies in your own backyard, join a Park Ranger on a tour of the Alum Creek Dam. The tour takes place on June 24, with two time slots available: 12 pm to 1 pm and 5 pm to 6 pm. The tour includes an opportunity to learn about the dam’s construction, history, and missions. - Harlem Township Heritage, Inc Farmers Market: The first farmers market hosted by Harlem Township Heritage, Inc is happening on Thursday, June 22nd, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
