The Olentangy River runs through Delaware, OH. The meaning comes from a Native American word literally translated as “stone for your knife stream”, based on the shale found along its shores.

Time for a quick update on the fishing right in downtown Delaware, Ohio.  The Olentangy River runs right through Delaware, and every fall the fishing in the Olentangy always heats up as the temperatures cool down. The last few days have been really good fishing in the river.
