Rose & Web Tattoo
Rose & Web Tattoo hopes to open its new location at 9 N. Sandusky Street on March 4. The shop’s current location isn’t far away, but it’s tucked behind the Sandusky Street building.
“Delaware’s best kept secret will soon be public knowledge. No more hiding in the rear of Sandusky St. No more hard to find location. As soon as March 4th RWT will not only provide Delaware with awesome, friendly, affordable tattooing right on historic Sandusky St. but be able to deliver EVERYONE with good times, yearly parties, fundraisers to help our community, special events, and host the most righteous tattooers from all around as guests to Rose and Web Tattoo,” the shop said in a Facebook post announcing the move.
Opa Grill & Tavern
Opa Grill & Tavern is working to move to a new space at 22 N. Sandusky Street, from its current location at 18 S. Sandusky Street. Owner Genti Koci submitted a proposal last year to turn the first floor of the historic building into the new home for Opa, the second floor into a whiskey bar and the third floor into three apartments.
City Barbeque

City Barbeque in the final stages of construction and hiring before opening at 1200 Sunbury Road in the Glennwood Commons Shopping Center. The Sunbury Rd. restaurant will be the first for City Barbeque in the City of Delaware. There are other locations in the county, including Powell and Polaris.
Maple Street Biscuit Company

Maple Street Biscuit Company opened the doors of its 1310 Polaris Parkway location on January 6. Living up to the name of the restaurant, Maple Street’s menu includes things like biscuit sandwiches, biscuits and gravy, and waffles. This location is the first for the Nashville-based chain in Ohio.
Heartland Bank

Construction is underway at Heartland Bank’s latest branch location, at 1754 Columbus Pike in Delaware. The branch has an anticipated open date in the late summer of 2023.

Sport Clips Haircuts of Delaware is set to open for business on February 7. The new location is at 50 Coughlin Ln Suite C. Sport Clips is a chain of salons that specializes in men’s haircuts.
Red Wing Shoes
Right next to Sport Clips in Coughlin Crossing is Red Wing Shoes. Red Wing is known for its heavy-duty work boots and other high-quality leather footwear. The company celebrated a ribbon cutting at its Delaware store on January 5.
Sheetz

Sheetz opened its latest location, at 920 Polaris Parkway, on January 10.
