DELAWARE, Ohio — A Columbus man was booked into the Delaware County Jail Monday, accused of stabbing another man outside a Polaris Parkway bar.
The stabbing happened August 11, 2022 outside Murphy McFlips at 1037 Polaris Parkway.
According to court documents, Victor Ngoc Nguyen, 37, is accused of stabbing a 26-year-old man in the stomach. The victim was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital for treatment.
According to a bond recommendation document filed by the Delaware County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, the stabbing happened while Nguyen and another person were in an altercation with another group outside the bar.
Nguyen was identified by eyewitnesses as the suspect, according to prosecutors.
A felonious assault charge was filed against Nguyen in December. He was arrested and booked into the jail Monday. He is scheduled fort an initial court appearance Tuesday afternoon.
