The Delaware County Sheriffs Office has declared a level 1 snow emergency for Sunday, January 22.
Sheriff Russell Martin said that roadways are hazardous with blowing or drifting snow. Motorists are advised to drive with caution.

There was some initial confusion about the status of the county, as alerts both declaring and lifting the snow emergency went out at the same time. The sheriff’s office says the alert lifting the snow emergency was sent in error.
the City of Delaware says it has seven plow trucks out on the roads Sunday morning. Crews are laying down salt and plowing as necessary. Crews are on 12-hour shifts.
ODOT says 200 crews are on central Ohio roadways, including many in Delaware County.
