DELAWARE, Ohio — A Level One Snow Emergency is in effect for Delaware County as overnight snow left roads in bad condition Wednesday.
The sheriff’s office went to a level 2 from a level 1 at 5:50 a.m, then back to a level 1 at 10 a.m.
Traffic cameras show icy and snowy roads across the county. U.S. 23 was closed in both directions early Wednesday morning at Coover Road due to a serious crash. A crash blocking two lanes was also reported on I-71 South near the rest area,
Delaware City Schools, Big Walnut Schools, Buckeye Valley Schools and Olentangy Schools are all closed Wednesday.
