OSTRANDER, Ohio – Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has ordered that the flags of the United States and the State of Ohio be flown at half-staff to honor the late State Representative Kris Jordan, who died unexpectedly on Saturday morning.

According to the Snyder Funeral Home, Jordan, who was 46 years old, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Ostrander after a diabetic reaction.
In addition to serving in the Ohio House of Representatives as the representative of the 60th District, Jordan had also previously served as both a Delaware County commissioner and an Ohio State senator.
“Fran and I are shocked and saddened to learn of the death of Representative Kris Jordan,” said Governor Mike DeWine. “Kris will be remembered for his expertise as a legislator and his advocacy for the people of Delaware County.”
Details regarding Jordan’s calling hours and memorial service are still forthcoming, according to a statement by State Senator Andrew Brenner on Facebook Sunday evening. “I just spoke to Kris Jordan’s mom. They will be officially posting his calling hours and memorial service tomorrow,” According to the obituary “arrangements and obituary details are pending and will be announced by the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center in Delaware.”
