DELAWARE, Ohio (AP) — The City of Delaware has advised residents of surveying activity taking place on E. Central Avenue (Ohio 37) between U.S. 23 and Lake Street (US 42) on the East Side of Delaware until Friday this week. The surveying is associated with the proposed eastbound left turn lane at Milo Street, as well as proposed pedestrian improvements at the Central/Lake intersection.
According to the city, the surveying activity will not require any traffic control. The work is being done in preparation for the River District project that is coming to the area.
In addition, AEP will be performing tree trimming and removal for utility work associated with the Point project through Friday this week. The city assures that this work is not expected to impact traffic.
Residents and commuters in the area are advised to be aware of these activities and to plan accordingly. Drivers should use caution when passing through the surveying and tree trimming areas.
