DELAWARE, Ohio — Get your towels and swimsuits ready, pools in Delaware County are preparing to fling open their gates and welcome swimmers of all ages as summer draws near.
If you’re looking to go swimming this Memorial Day weekend, here are some spots, and what it will cost.
Delaware – Jack Florance Pool
Located in Mingo Park off East Lincoln Avenue, Delaware’s Jack Florance Pool opens for the summer season on Memorial Day weekend. Amenities include a water slide, zero-depth entry pool, and concessions.
Daily admission is $8 for Delaware residents and $10 for non-residents.

Orange Township – North Orange Aquatic Center
North Orange Aquatic Center is located in North Orange Park at 7560 Gooding Blvd. The pool opens for the season on May 26, 2023.
Daily admission passes can be purchased by township residents for $9.00.

Powell – Powell Pool
Powell Pool is located near Adventure Park at 260 Adventure Park Dr. The 2023 season begins Friday, May 26. Amenities include a 165 foot water slide, diving well, toddler wading pool, zero entry area, lap lanes, concessions and picnic areas.
Guest passes can be purchased by members for $10. All guests must be accompanied by a member.
