Ohio High School Juniors and Seniors Invited to Apply for Teen Ambassador Board
Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost has launched the Teen Ambassador Board, an initiative aimed at developing future leaders, enhancing knowledge of Ohio law and government, and preparing students for careers in public service. High school juniors and seniors from various types of schools across Ohio are encouraged to apply for this unique opportunity.
Attorney General Yost expressed his enthusiasm for the program, stating, “The Teen Ambassador Board is a logical next step for young men and women who have demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities. This program empowers students and provides tools to make a positive impact.”
Selected board members will have the opportunity to advise the Attorney General’s Office on peer-related issues and work collaboratively on innovative solutions. They will engage in activities and discussions with elected officials in Columbus, as well as participate in state events, offering a firsthand experience of Ohio’s government and legal system.
Motivated and self-starting individuals with an interest in law and government are ideal candidates for the Teen Ambassador Board. Members will serve a one-year term, during which they will actively contribute to the discussions surrounding teen-related issues and collaborate on developing effective solutions. Moreover, they will have the chance to meet Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost, visit his offices, and engage with Assistant Attorneys General, gaining valuable insights into the field.
